In partnership with the Department for Education (DfE), Randstad is proud to be an approved Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agency.

Following the launch of the Flexi-job apprenticeship initiative developed by the DfE in 2022, Flexi-Job Apprenticeship agencies, such as Randstad employ and manage apprentices, placing them with ‘host’ employers.

The new model, designed to provide increased flexibility and variety of experience offers greater external support to employers, making it easier to recruit and develop talent or to share apprentices between more than one organisation. 

In accordance with DfE guidelines, Flexi-job apprenticeships take place in sectors and occupations that often use short-term contracts or other non-standard employment models.

Employers and apprentices can use an approved Flexi-job apprenticeship agency where the agency:

• employs the apprentice for the duration of their apprenticeship
• arranges placements with host businesses
