If you are looking for temporary work, you will need to contact your local Randstad office to discuss current opportunities. If we are able to help, then you will be invited in to meet one of our consultants.
what to bring
- your CV (this can be e-mailed)
- passport or birth certificate and national insurance proof
- contact details for 2 referees (inc email addresses)
- proof of change of name (if applicable, e.g. if you have married)
- bank details
Other items you may need are:
- driving licence (both your photo card and paper counterpart)
- proof of address (2 documents no more than 2 months old)
your interview
This will take approximately 1 hour, spending time to establish what type of job you are looking for, the type of company and people you would like to work.
At the end, you will be asked to complete online assessments dependent on the type of work you are looking for. This is so we have a record of your results to share with potential employers.
We will also try to obtain references from your previous employers. Once we have done so we can discuss suitable current opportunities or contact our clients on your behalf.
Your consultant will also explain everything you need to know about becoming a ‘flex associate’ with Randstad.
what happens next?
Once we have met with you and obtained all necessary documentation, we can start matching you to a temporary assignment.
Sometimes, we can find such a role immediately, alternatively, we will contact you when a suitable assignment is found. However, two way communication makes for a perfect relationship!
