At Randstad, we do a lot to support our people with their mental health. Whether this be through our Employee Assistance Programme, or leading through our resilient business principles - we go above and beyond to make sure our people are supported.
During mental health awareness week, we wanted to go beyond the support for our people and wanted to give back to a charity that is paving the way for mental health support and awareness. This is why we are walking from our Glasgow office to our HQ in Diemen, Netherlands (all virtually of course) to raise funds and awareness for the Mental Health Foundation.
During the week our people will be walking, running or cycling the 1,000km from Glasgow to Diemen to raise money for the Mental Health Foundation. Randstad UK will be donating £1 for every 1km closer we get - so every step counts! Keep up to date on our LinkedIn page throughout the week where we’ll be sharing what our people are doing to make it that 1,000km distance!
We will also be sharing advice and tools on how to deal with mental health all week; including stress, mental wellbeing, conversations about our mental health, plus much more. Nurse and Love Island star Rachel Fenton will also be sharing her story about how changing her eating and drinking habits helped her deal with stress and Bill Hill, CEO of Lighthouse Club Charity, talks about reinforcing the importance of mental health awareness at work and why it’s important to have support available for your employees.
