how do I register with Randstad Care?
It’s really straightforward. If you find a suitable role on our live jobs feed, simply apply, sending across your CV and (for nursing applications, a short profile) and one of our specialists will process this and get in touch to discuss your suitability to the role. Alternatively, you can call or email your local Randstad Care branch to discuss what you’re looking for and to complete the registration process so we can help find you your ideal role.

will you need to see documents relating to my medical registration/licencing?
Yes. When placing people in positions of healthcare, it is vital that we follow procedures. We will meet with you to go through all relevant checks and assist you in completing all required documentation.

do you only specialise in temporary work?
Absolutely not. We specialise in placing healthcare professionals into temporary, fixed-term and permanent roles across the whole of the UK in both public and private sectors.

where’s my local Randstad Care branch?
Randstad Care has 4 offices across the UK - and expanding. Our 3 nursing offices are in Manchester - North West England, Newcastle, North East England and Cardiff - Wales. Our allied healthcare office is in Dublin, Northern Island. There is always someone nearby to help you in your job search. This is important as it means we can get to know your requirements, and place you with an employer we know and trust from your local area.

how long does the application and interview process take?
The standard process we follow is to meet with you to go through all relevant checks. This can usually be done relatively quickly if you prepare all information as soon as possible. After that, it’s just a matter of following the interview process and you could be working in a matter of weeks.

what documents will you need to see for my checks?
It’s our top priority to ensure everyone we place is carefully vetted and checked in the best interests of our clients. As a minimum (and depending on the role you are applying for) we would need to see: Review ID, Right to work in the UK, 2 documents for proof of address and National Insurance (NI).

what level of interaction and support can I expect from Randstad Care during the application and interview process?
Our specialists will work with you before, during and after your placement to ensure you’re fully supported every step of the way. We’ll help you to complete the application process, prepare you for your interview and make sure you’re comfortable in your new role by conducting weekly calls to check you’re settling in ok and to offer support with administrative responsibilities, such as timesheet processing.

what are your out of office service hours for nursing?
We understand that sometimes you might need support outside of our usual office hours and so we have an out of office service for our nursing candidates. The services times are 4pm - 12am and 5.30am - 9.30am Monday to Friday and 5am - 12am on Saturday and Sunday. You can email the team on outofhoursmanchester@randstad.co.uk.
