We are seeking a proactive and organised Administration Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support within our schools in and around Preston. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting both students and staff.

Job responsibilities:
- Office Management: Maintain and organise filing systems, manage correspondence, and handle daily office tasks.
- Student Administration: Update and maintain student records, process admissions, and manage attendance records.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for parents, students, and staff, and handle inquiries professionally.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Organise school events, meetings, and appointments, and maintain the school calendar.
- Financial Administration: Assist with budget management, process invoices, and handle petty cash.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to school policies, health, and safety regulations.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and school management systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
