Job Description:
Are you a compassionate and experienced social worker passionate about safeguarding vulnerable adults? We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join the Adult Safeguarding Team in Carlisle.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing risks, developing protection plans, and working collaboratively to safeguard adults at risk.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk to identify needs, risks, and strengths.
- Developing and implementing personalized protection plans to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults.
- Providing ongoing support and intervention to adults at risk and their families, ensuring access to necessary services and resources.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive safeguarding efforts.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience working in adult safeguarding or a related social care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with adults at risk and their families.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult safeguarding.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience working in a social care setting, preferably with initial assessments and urgent support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with individuals and families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
