Randstad is delighted to be recruiting for a full-time Social Worker to join the review team at Doncaster Council. This rewarding role offers a competitive hourly rate of £32.
About the Role:
The primary responsibility of this role is conducting reviews. While the majority of your work will be based in Doncaster, some out-of-area travel will be required. You will work primarily with cases relating to the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Safeguarding (SG). A driving licence is essential for this role due to the travel involved. You'll be required to work two days a week in the office, with the remaining days being flexible and potentially involving client visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive reviews of client cases under the Care Act, MCA, and SG guidelines.
- Managing a caseload efficiently and effectively.
- Liaising with clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
- Travel within and outside of Doncaster (driving licence essential).
- Working from the office two days a week.
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work qualification (DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)
- HCPC registration
- Experience working with the Care Act, MCA, and Safeguarding legislation
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with Mosaic software
