Responsibilities:
- Manage a reduced caseload of cared-for children, ensuring all their complex needs are met.
- Lead visits, assessments, permanency planning, and casework.
- Deliver court statements and assessments.
- Provide reflective group supervision and mentor ASYE social workers.
- Support the Team Manager by addressing performance gaps, motivating the team, and delivering training.
- Work closely with health, education, and other external agencies.
To be considered for the Advanced Practitioner role, ideally you will have:
- Experience: 3-5 years in a similar team setting.
- Qualifications: BSc in Social Work (or equivalent) with Social Work England registration.
- Experience supervising and developing social workers while driving team performance.
