We currently have a fantastic Locum Advanced Practitioner role based within a Community Health Team in the Salford, Greater Manchester area, where you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and support in social work and social care. Your expertise will help guide the team in ensuring high-quality service delivery for adults in need.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide oversight and direction for social work practice within the CMHT and the broader division.
- Case Management: Maintain a reduced CPA caseload to allow for focused supervision and consultation on complex cases.
- Safeguarding: Take the lead on adult and child safeguarding initiatives, chairing planning meetings and collaborating with partner agencies.
- Promote Well-Being: Advocate for the independence and well-being of adults of working age, facilitating social inclusion and community engagement.
- Team Support: Assist the Team Manager in ensuring high standards of practice and effective service delivery.
- Supervision: Report to the CMHT Team Manager for daily management, with professional supervision provided by the Social Care Governance and Performance Lead.
To be considered for this role, ideally you will have:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a mental health setting.
- Supervisory Skills: Prior experience in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
- AMHP Qualification: Desirable but not essential.
- Educational Background: A Diploma or Degree in Social Work.
- Registration: Current registration with Social Work England.
