Advanced Practitioner - Children in Care

About the Role:
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. You will work with a complex caseload, utilising your advanced skills and knowledge to assess needs, develop care plans, and deliver effective interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex caseload of children in care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and risks.
- Develop and implement effective care plans.
- Provide intensive support and intervention to children and families.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, foster carers, teachers, and health professionals.
- Prepare and present reports for court.
- Mentor and support less experienced social workers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work degree.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant experience of working with children in care.
- Advanced knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance.
- Excellent assessment, planning, and intervention skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
