As an AMHP in Kirklees, you will:
Undertake Mental Health Act assessments and ensure the least restrictive intervention is applied.
Work closely with NHS professionals, emergency services, and local authorities.
Provide expert legal and ethical decision-making for individuals in crisis.
Support service users through multi-agency collaboration and crisis intervention.
Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act 1983 and Care Act 2014.
What You Need:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.
Social Care England registration.
Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) status.
Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, safeguarding, and risk management.
Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make sound decisions.
