As an AMHP in the Mental Health Team, you will be responsible for:
Undertaking Mental Health Act assessments and coordinating crisis interventions.
Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and community services.
Ensuring individuals receive the right care and support within legal frameworks.
Advocating for vulnerable individuals, ensuring their rights and best interests are upheld.
Making complex decisions in high-pressure situations to safeguard individuals and the public.
Providing specialist advice on mental health legislation and practice.
What You Need:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.
Registration with Social Care England.
AMHP qualification and experience in Mental Health Act assessments.
Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, risk assessment, and safeguarding.
Ability to work flexibly, manage caseloads, and make quick, informed decisions.
