Supply Teaching Assistant - Surrey Primary School
We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Supply Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive one-form entry primary school located in Surrey. The school boasts extensive outdoor learning spaces, including two playgrounds, a field, and a woodland area for exploration and education. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning, working closely with teachers, and helping to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom.
About the role:
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Supporting children with their learning, including those with additional needs
- Helping manage classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Providing one-on-one or small group support as needed
- Encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence in students
What you'll need:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, especially in primary settings
- Strong behaviour management skills and resilience in working with children with challenging behaviour
- A patient, positive, and adaptable approach to helping students learn and thrive
