    Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a rewarding role in a specialist SEMH primary school?
    We are looking for a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our newly opened SEMH primary school in Market Bosworth. With just 16 students currently (expanding to 24 by year-end), this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a small, supportive setting.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Support teaching and learning across the school, working closely with the class teacher.
    • Lead small group interventions and provide 1:1 support for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs.
    • Manage and de-escalate extremely challenging behaviours, using positive handling techniques where required.
    • Contribute to a nurturing and structured learning environment.
    • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff.
    What We Are Looking For:
    • Experience working with SEMH pupils and managing challenging behaviour.
    • Positive Handling training or experience in de-escalation techniques (e.g., Team Teach, MAPA, CPI).
    • Resilience, patience, and a commitment to supporting vulnerable students.
    • HLTA qualification or extensive TA experience with additional responsibilities.
