    SEMH Teaching Assistant - Burgess Hill, close to Haywards Heath

    Position: Grade 6 Teaching Assistant
    Hours: 32.5 per week
    Schedule: Term Time Only

    Teaching Assistants are essential to the classroom dynamics, offering vital support to teachers and fostering a nurturing environment for all their students. We are on the lookout for someone who can uplift and inspire tis school's pupils.

    • Demonstrate excellence in practice with high expectations for all pupils
    • Show a passion for child-centred learning
    • Possess strong organisational and communication skills, and enjoy teamwork
    • Ideally, have experience working with young people
    • Contribute positively to our school's ethos
    • Commit firmly to inclusion and equal opportunities for all

    Role Requirements:

    • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent
    • A good educational background across various subjects
    • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in English & Maths
    • Understanding of the national curriculum and relevant learning programs
    • Knowledge of relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation
