    Randstad Education is looking for History teacher who is committed and posses great academic knowledge. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning and an ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.

    Requirements

    • QTS/QTLS- this is essential
    • Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4- this is essential
    • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
    • Eligibility to work in the UK.
    • Must Provide 2 recent professional references
    • Familiarity with the National Curriculum
    • Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a proven track record of student success

    Responsibilities

    • Design,Plan and Prepare history lessons for KS3 and KS4
    • Use appropriate teaching and classroom management strategies to motivate Children and enable each to progress appropriately
    • Maintain appropriate records to demonstrate progress made by students
    • Engage in school-wide activities, attend department meetings, and pursue professional development
    • Provide guidance and support to help students achieve their academic and personal potential
    • Uphold high standards of behaviour management in accordance with school policies
