    Immediate Need for a Long-Term Role

    This well-established and reputable SEN school is renowned for its ongoing success and commitment to providing innovative education to learners with high-functioning ASC. They offer a partially residential and school setting to students aged between 5 and 16, currently accommodating 80+ pupils.

    They are eager to welcome a dedicated SEN TA to join their team on a long-term basis, providing invaluable support on a 1:1 and whole-class basis for the rest of the academic year. This role requires commitment Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm daily, during term time.

    The school caters to learners with Autism, Asperger's, and other associated learning difficulties, offering a creative, broad curriculum that includes recreational activities. Recognized for excellence, they have recently been awarded the eco-healthy school award and registered with the Arts Council.

    Requirements:

    • Resilient, caring, and committed individual

    • Care or Education experience desirable but not essential

    Responsibilities:

    • Supporting KS1-KS4 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group, and classroom basis
    • Communicating with parents and carers about pupils' progress
    • Participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole-school training events
