    Long-Term Primary Teacher

    Position: Long-Term Primary Teacher
    Location: Newhaven
    Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time, Term-Time Only
    Contract Type: Fixed-Term (One Term, Two Terms, or Full Academic Year)

    About the Role:

    Randstad Education is seeking dedicated and flexible Primary Teachers for long-term roles within our partner schools across Newhaven. Whether you are looking for part-time or full-time work, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils' education over an extended period. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting pupils' academic and personal development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
    • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils in your class.
    • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support to help each child achieve their full potential.
    • Work collaboratively with other teachers, teaching assistants, and school leaders to create a positive and cohesive learning environment.
    • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a culture of respect and responsibility.
    • Communicate regularly with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child's progress and well-being.

    Requirements:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
    • Experience teaching at the primary level is highly desirable.
    • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
    • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
