    Randstad Education is partnering with a thriving, split-site special school in Reigate to find dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their team on both long-term and supply bases.

    This school provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children with a range of needs, including severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, autism, and complex social communication needs.     About the role:

    As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and wellbeing of our students. You will:

    • Work closely with teachers to implement individualised learning plans and strategies.
    • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
    • Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters a sense of belonging and encourages students to thrive.
    • Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
    • Participate in a variety of activities, including preparing learning materials, supporting students with their work, and providing individualised support.


    We are looking for individuals with:

    • Experience working with children with special needs in a school setting.
    • A strong understanding of child development and learning needs, particularly those with complex needs.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
    • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
