    SEN Teaching Assistant - Through SEN Provision - West Sussex

    Do you have a passion for supporting young boys with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC)? Are you ready to make a genuine difference in a supportive and unique environment?

    Through SEN Provision, a leading provider of education and care for boys aged 5-11 with a range of complex needs, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team.

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide support to students in the classroom: Assist teachers with lessons, provide individualised support, and help create a positive learning environment.
    • Collaborate with the class teacher: Work closely with the teacher to implement personalized learning plans and ensure each student's needs are met.
    • Support students with a range of needs: Provide help with activities, behaviour management, and personal care as required.
    • Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere: Promote a sense of safety, belonging, and well-being.
    • Learn and grow: We are committed to ongoing professional development and will support you with training and qualifications, including QTS and HLTA opportunities.


    Ideal Candidates:

    • Have a genuine passion for working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
    • Are patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting learners.
    • Have experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS (desirable).
    • Have experience with Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECs) or other communication tools for non-verbal learners (desirable).
    • Have experience with speech & language or BSL (desirable).

    Essential Requirements:

    * A valid DBS check.
