SEN Teaching Assistant - Through SEN Provision - West Sussex

Through SEN Provision, a leading provider of education and care for boys aged 5-11 with a range of complex needs, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team.

What You'll Do:
- Provide support to students in the classroom: Assist teachers with lessons, provide individualised support, and help create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher: Work closely with the teacher to implement personalized learning plans and ensure each student's needs are met.
- Support students with a range of needs: Provide help with activities, behaviour management, and personal care as required.
- Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere: Promote a sense of safety, belonging, and well-being.
- Learn and grow: We are committed to ongoing professional development and will support you with training and qualifications, including QTS and HLTA opportunities.
Ideal Candidates:
- Have a genuine passion for working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
- Are patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting learners.
- Have experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS (desirable).
- Have experience with Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECs) or other communication tools for non-verbal learners (desirable).
- Have experience with speech & language or BSL (desirable).

Essential Requirements:
* A valid DBS check.
* A full driving licence (preferred).
