Primary School Teaching Assistant - Become Part of Randstad Education

Location: Uckfield
Contract: Full-time, Part-time, Term-Time Only

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to work with our schools across Uckfield, East Sussex. In this role, you'll help students succeed by supporting teachers and creating a positive, engaging classroom environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting student learning.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support for students needing extra help.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Support with classroom management and student behaviour.
• Prepare teaching materials and assist students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Participate in school events and meetings as needed.

• Experience working with children.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• A collaborative team player.
• Relevant qualifications are a plus but not required.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding children.
