    Position: Primary Teaching Assistant
    Location: Horley
    Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time
    Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time Only

    Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic and committed Primary Teaching Assistants to become part of our school network in Horley. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to both teachers and students, contributing to a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and enhancing student learning.
    • Provide individualised and small group support to students requiring extra help.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
    • Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a well-structured environment.
    • Assist in organising teaching materials and classroom resources.
    • Offer support to students with special educational needs (SEN) as needed.
    • Participate in school events, activities, and meetings with parents as required.

    Requirements:

    • Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
    • A caring, patient, and supportive approach when working with children.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
    • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are a plus, though not essential.
    • A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
