    Higher Level Teaching Assistant - SEN

    Are you a dedicated and passionate SEN professional looking for a rewarding opportunity to support students with autism?

    We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a team at a specialist school in Effingham, near Leatherhead, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse and inspiring group of students, aged 11-16, who have associated behavioural and communication difficulties.

    About the Role:

    • You will be working alongside teachers, providing direct support to students within the classroom.
    • You will be responsible for leading lessons in the absence of the class teacher and developing your skills to support teaching and learning.
    • You will be part of a collaborative and committed multidisciplinary team, working together to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

    • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
    • Experience working with students with autism and associated communication and behavioural difficulties.
    • The ability to lead lessons and deliver high-quality, differentiated educational activities.
