The Role :
We are seeking a passionate Art Teacher to work at a welcoming Secondary School based near Newmarket. As an Art Teacher, you will deliver engaging and comprehensive Art lessons across various mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art. You are expected to teach students essential artistic skills and concepts, such as colour theory, composition, perspective, and the use of different materials and tools. You will also encourage students to explore their creativity, express their ideas, and develop their unique artistic voices through a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities :
- Designing and implementing a comprehensive art curriculum that covers various mediums, techniques, and art history.
- Teaching students a range of artistic skills and concepts, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art, while adapting lessons to different skill levels.
- Fostering an environment that encourages students to explore their creativity, experiment with materials, and develop their unique artistic voices.
- Creating a safe and positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and open expression.
- Organising and leading art-related extracurricular activities, such as clubs, exhibitions, competitions, and community projects.
Requirements :
- QTS or equivalent.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- DBS (or willingness to apply)
- A qualified teacher with a strong background in visual arts.
- Experience teaching at the secondary level is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for art education and a commitment to student success.
