Assistant Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and focused candidate to join a successful and expanding business based in Luton. The successful candidate will work as an Assistant Management Accountant undertaking the below responsibilities:
- Processing of staff credit card and cash expenses from start to finish
- Processing of purchase invoices and support supplier payment runs
- Preparing the month end payroll journal and reconciliation
- Assisting the Finance Manager in preparation of management accounts
- Assisting the Finance Manager with monthly analysis and month end reporting
- Assisting the Finance Manager with quarterly VAT computation
- Providing support during year-end audits
- An ad hoc task as required
Required Skills, Abilities and Certifications
* Stong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Have a positive 'can-do' attitude
* Experience working in a fast-paced SME environment
* Familiarity with the payroll processes and payroll month end responsibilities is an advantage
* SAP Business One or similar ERP experience essential
