We are recruiting for a hands on Assistant Site Manager to join a leading developer working on exciting Build to Rent projects based in Essex with an expanding portfolio across the South.
The ideal candidate will have a technical/ trade background and have a hands on approach. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the delivery of high-quality, sustainable residential developments in a growing sector working on the Maintenance division
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a variety of works such as planned, reactive and cyclical projects.
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure all repairs and projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Manage the health and safety of site operations, ensuring compliance with regulations Implement project plans and ensure technical specifications are met
- Be hands on and willing to undertake small maintenance tasks where needed, as well as travel around to local properties
- Report to senior management and provide updates on projects
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an Assistant/ Site Manager in a similar role with a focus on Build to Rent or residential developments
- SMSTS qualification
- Strong technical background in construction or housing ideally Planned and Cyclical Projects
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
