Randstad Education is working with a school in Lewisham who is looking to appoint an Attendance Assistant/Student Services Receptionist.
The Role
- Act as a first point of reference for students & parents accessing student services reception
- Work with the Attendance Officer to improve levels of attendance and punctuality
- Promote a positive attendance and punctuality culture
- Follow school policy of "First Day Absence Contact" within the school
The Ideal Candidate
- Previously worked as Pastoral Assistant/ Attendance Assistant
- Able to carry out administrative tasks with efficiency and keep accurate records
- Confident and accurate use of Microsoft office
- Proficient use of Arbor, SIMS or similar school based database systems
- Excellent communication skills
- High standard of literacy & numeracy
- Confidentiality

These are some of the requirements that we need from you:
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one which Randstad can support you on
- Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
- Proof of your eligibility to work in the UK together with a few other documents
- 2 recent professional references
