We have a fantastic interim opportunity for an Audit and Quality Assurance Officer to join a forward-thinking Children and Families Team in the Liverpool area.
In this role, you won't have line management duties, but you'll play a key part in the Quality Assurance team. You'll work alongside Social Care teams and independently, using your initiative and experience to help build a strong Quality Assurance system that truly makes an impact.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teams to conduct effective and insightful audits.
- Lead real-time audit processes to drive immediate improvements.
- Provide expert guidance and support to social care professionals.
- Produce clear, actionable reports and improvement plans.
- Deliver bite-sized learning sessions, supporting the local authority's learning and development academy.
To be considered, ideally you will have:
- BSc in Social Work or Equivalent Qualification.
- Social Work England Registration.
- Experience in Team Management, QA, or Practice Improvement within children's social care.
- A Passion for Excellence in Social Work Practice and knowledge of systemic and relational practice models.
