Azure Active Directory & Windows Server Specialist - Hybrid/London - £420pd (Inside IR35)
My client a leader in their field are seeking a highly skilled Azure Active Directory & Windows Server Specialist to join a dynamic team in a global-scale, highly regulated financial services environment. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong automation, security, and infrastructure expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate application build, configuration, and maintenance.
- Integrate environment tooling/apps such as Active Directory, SMTP, SIEM, ITSM.
- Develop Ansible Playbooks and PowerShell scripts from scratch.
- Configure and manage GitHub and REST APIs.
- Provide hands-on engineering expertise in Windows Server and Azure Active Directory.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
- Ensure security, resilience, and automation across infrastructure.
- Work collaboratively as part of a large-scale transformation program.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in Azure Active Directory & Windows Server.
- Experience in automating infrastructure processes.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Ansible).
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, REST APIs, and CI/CD.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in a large-scale, regulated environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
- Financial services background
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
