Azure DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes - Permanent - London/Hybrid - £65-70k per annum
My client, a leader in their field are seeking a talented and motivated Azure DevOps Engineer to join their growing team in Central London. This role will play a crucial part in managing their on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments, ensuring the smooth deployment and operation of applications. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, and Ansible, along with a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
Automate infrastructure management using Ansible and Terraform.
Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.
Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability across on-prem, cloud (Azure), and SaaS environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and compliance.
3-5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
Strong proficiency with Azure cloud services.
- Ideall Insurance domain knowledge (financial services)
Extensive experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
Proficiency in Docker containerization.
Expertise in using Ansible for configuration management.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
Strong knowledge of both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
Experience in monitoring and logging tools.
Familiarity with security best practices.
Previous experience within Insurance or Financial Services.
Exposure to other cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Familiarity with SaaS application management.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Powershell).
