Randstad is recruiting for Safeguarding Positions to work across the Adults and Child Safeguarding Team.

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced and highly skilled professionals for Band 8b Safeguarding positions. These are clinical roles, requiring appropriate professional registration (Registered Nurse/Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse).

Band: 8b

Hours: Full Time (37.5 hrs per week)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3-6 months

Location: Brighton, Worthing, Chichester, Haywards Heath, and Shoreham.

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for a range of duties, including:

• Communication and dissemination of information to a range of audiences.
• Supervision and mentoring of team members.
• Clinical governance and ensuring adherence to best practice.
• Direct patient care delivery.
• Negotiating with senior teams and stakeholders on complex issues.
• Presenting complex and sensitive information to senior management.
• Analysis of conflicting information and decision-making.
• Implementation of internal processes and procedures.
• Data analysis and development of options for quality improvement.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Appropriate professional registration (Registered Nurse/Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and contentious information with diplomacy and tact.
• Experience in presenting at a senior level (e.g., Safeguarding Quarterly Board).
• Proven ability to analyze complex information and make sound judgments.
• Experience in setting up and implementing internal processes.
• Experience in data analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Completion of all STAM training prior to commencement.
