Job Title: Banksman (Long-term contract) STARTING IN FEB/MARCH 2025

Salary: £15-18ph
Position Overview:
A construction site in Sutton is seeking an experienced Banksman to manage vehicle and machinery movements safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have the necessary certifications and a strong understanding of health and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and guide vehicles, cranes, and machinery using hand signals or radios.
- Ensure safe movement of vehicles in tight or congested areas.
- Manage site traffic flow to prevent bottlenecks and hazards.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with operators, drivers, and site managers.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Banksman certification.
- Proven experience in a Banksman role on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of site safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
