Role: Bid Writer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our dynamic Bid Management Team. Reporting to the Bid Manager, you will coordinate and write high-quality bid proposals, working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders. Your contributions will directly support the organization's goal of increasing business win rates through successful tenders and re-tenders.
This role involves applying well-developed knowledge of bid and proposal management, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and ensuring all milestones are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the team's email inbox and portal notifications, responding to inquiries promptly.
- Coordinate meetings, take minutes, manage schedules, and ensure effective communication throughout the tender process.
- Maintain and update portal information, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather technical, commercial, and financial data required for tenders.
- Facilitate the organization of the tender process, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Write and review responses to Invitation to Tender (ITT) questions using a database of standard responses or by crafting new narratives as required.
- Project-manage and complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PPQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and ITTs.
- Ensure all tender submissions meet deadlines and are delivered to a high standard.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in writing commercial and technical content to a high standard.
- Excellent writing, grammar, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
