Job Title: Building Maintenance Engineer

My client is a large Facilities and maintenance company who operate in various sectors across the commercial sector. They are currently looking for a number of experienced building maintenance engineers to join an established team on a static site near (London) . This role is (Monday-Friday) to working ( 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, to a high standard, and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections and fault-finding on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems to ensure safe and effective operation.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide clear communication to clients and management.
- Liaise with building managers and clients to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Maintain and improve the quality and safety of systems across multiple sites.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- Proven experience in commercial building maintenance with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage your time efficiently, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A valid driver's license is essential for travel between sites.
