As the Building Services Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality and affordability across the design, installation and maintenance of all essential systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well known, established Tier 1 Main Contractor who are thriving with a number of exciting projects across the Midlands.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting with the selection of sub-contractors to tender from the supply chain
• Responsible for assisting with the management of the commissioning process and compliance of as built and maintenance manuals
• Collate the team project reports and provide a summary report to the relevant director relating to the projects that you are aligned to
• Work closely with Design Teams to assist in Design Management of specific M&E Packages
• Review technical submittals from sub-contractors and provide input to bids / pre construction/ project teams
• Manage the coordination of M&E Services on sites in conjunction with day to day project delivery team
• Checking quality of installations by sub contractors on site
• Manage commissioning and sign off BS systems

Requirements:

• The role would ideally suit someone from either a main contractor or specialist subcontractor background
• Experience of both mechanical and electrical services
• Experience of preconstruction and delivery
• Degree qualified
• Valid CSCS & SMSTS Card
