Our large Manufacturing client is currently hiring for a Procurement Category Manager position. You will be mainly responsible for acting as a lead buyer for local organisations. This is a fully on site, permanent role in Drogheda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for key strategic categories with specific reference to Maintenance and Production Services, Production Equipment & Raw Materials categories
- Develop category strategies to deliver value for the business and ensure delivery of these cost benefits, right through from initiation to contract conclusion in line with business needs.
- Build strong and effective relationships across all stakeholder groups to create the framework for the implementation of procurement initiatives and processes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement.
- Business degree
Salary is in and around €50,000
