We are looking for Catering Supervisor to join one of our client's teams in Wiltshire
Job title: Catering Supervisor
Location: Royal Wootton Bassett Academy, SN4 7HG
Duration: Temp to perm
Timings: 6.30am to 2.45pm - Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £12:36 per hour + holiday pay
Dbs: Enhanced DBS issued within last 3 years
Main Duties include:
- Overseeing daily operations of the catering team to ensure smooth service.
- Managing food preparation, presentation, and delivery to meet quality standards.
- Supervising staff to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Training and mentoring new catering staff to enhance skills and performance.
- Ensuring that catering supplies are stocked and inventory is regularly checked.
- Coordinating with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences.
- Managing the scheduling and shift assignments of catering staff.
- Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Monitoring food storage conditions to prevent contamination or spoilage.
- Preparing and maintaining reports on catering activities, including costs and profits.
- Ensuring that equipment and kitchen areas are maintained and cleaned properly.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to plan menus and manage special requests.
- Maintaining budget control by managing food costs, labor costs, and other expenses.
- Ensuring that catering events are set up and broken down efficiently and on time.
Requirement:
Must have catering supervisor experience and enhanced DBS
