Here are a few of your responsibilities with this position:
- Plan and deliver dynamic, hands-on chemistry lessons that inspire curiosity and practical skills in students.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their academic potential.
- Contribute to the design and development of an innovative chemistry curriculum that emphasises scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
- Foster a love for chemistry and the natural world, encouraging students to explore diverse chemical concepts and phenomena.
- Lead and participate in chemistry-related extracurricular activities, clubs, and school events.
To get cleared to teach chemistry, you need to fulfil the following requirements:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status, with UK-based teaching experience.
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Must Provide 2 proven professional references
- Have recent classroom teaching experience in teaching chemistry in-line with the AQA curriculum.
- A deep passion for chemistry and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
