An exciting opportunity has arisen to join East Lothian's Disability Team, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for vulnerable children.
This is a minimum three-month contract with a competitive hourly rate and flexible hybrid working options.
What You'll Do:
- Undertake assessments and reviews to safeguard children and young people.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Support children, families, and carers by providing guidance and advocacy.
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to deliver holistic interventions.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).
- Registered member of the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council).
- PVG scheme membership (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
- Relevant experience in children and families' services, particularly in disability or additional needs.
