Are you a qualified and experienced social worker with a passion for safeguarding children and supporting families?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated professional to join a Children & Families team in the Highlands. You will play a vital role in protecting vulnerable children, supporting families, and ensuring the best possible outcomes.
Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
- Child Protection - supporting and safeguarding children at risk
- Assessments - conducting thorough evaluations to inform decision-making
- Report Writing - preparing professional reports for legal and statutory processes
- Hearings & LAC Reviews - attending Children's Hearings and Looked After Child (LAC) reviews
Requirements:
- Member of the PVG scheme
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
- Experience working with children and families
