Primary duties include, though are not confined to :
- Care Act assessments
- Report writing
- Examine and supervise carer strategies
- Perform assessments according to the Mental Capacity Act
- Manage complex cases that require the local authority to initiate the PLO and Court Proceedings
- Develop SMART care plans for children
- Caseload management
- Take the lead in an area of social work practice.
To be successful within this role, you are required to have:
- Social Work England registration
- Social Work Qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent assessment/analysis skills, a clear understanding of thresholds
- Regulated Activity DBS Disclosure Certificate
