Randstad in Cumbria is urgently seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join our team.
What You'll Do:
- * Provide Evening and Weekend Support: You'll play a vital role in delivering tailored care plans and ensuring the well-being of children, working alongside families and other healthcare professionals
- * Create a Safe and Nurturing Environment: You'll provide emotional support, guidance, and practical assistance to children and their families while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. 🏡❤️
- *Collaborate and Communicate: You'll work effectively with families and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for each child. 🤝
What You'll Bring:
Essential Requirements:
- * 6+ months of experience working in children's mental health
- * Availability for evening shifts and at least 8 hours over the weekend⏰
- * Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals 🗣️
- * Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal 📝
- * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team 💪
- * Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- * Car Mandatory & Flexible to travel around 1 hour in Cumbria mainly, Carlisle, Whitehaven
- * PMVA Training required based on service users
- * Mandatory Training Certificates mandatory
