We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Childcare Support Worker. You must be a caring individual with a genuine passion for supporting children.
- Right to work in UK
- Minimum 6 months of experience working with children in learning disabilities and other mental health issues
- Full UK driving license and access to a car, flexible to travelling within carlisle and west cumbria
- PMVA, mandatory training certificates, Peg Feeding [Optional]
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality care
As a Childcare Support Worker, your typical day will involve providing a range of care services tailored to each child's individual needs.
- Providing personal care, including assistance with hygiene and dressing
- Planning and implementing engaging activities
- Administering medication as prescribed
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with families and other professionals
