• OFSTED Compliance: Prepare the home for registration and ensure ongoing compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing staff team.
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person.
• Quality Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of care delivered.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and the community.
• Service Management: Oversee all aspects of the home's operations, including staff management, care planning, safeguarding, and quality assurance.

Ideal Candidate:

• Full UK driving license (Essential)
• 2 years of managerial experience in children's residential services (Essential)
• Working knowledge of children's home quality standards (Essential)
• Experience with OFSTED inspections (Essential)
• QCF Level 5 leadership and management qualification (or willingness to obtain) (Essential)
• Flexible working hours (Essential)
• QCF Level 3/4 - CYP (qualified) (Essential)
• Working knowledge of attachment theory in children's homes (Desirable)
• Budget management experience (Desirable)
• Knowledge of the referral process (Desirale)
