Due to high demand we are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join our local schools in and across Blackpool and help maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the school is kept clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times. You will be working as part of a team to carry out cleaning duties across the school premises, including classrooms, hallways, toilets, offices, and other communal areas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean classrooms, hallways, staffrooms, toilets, and other communal areas.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust and wipe surfaces; clean windows and mirrors.
- Empty and clean bins; ensure rubbish is disposed of correctly.
- Replenish soap, toilet paper, and paper towels in toilets as necessary.
- Clean and sanitise toilets and washrooms regularly.
- Ensure that cleaning products and equipment are used safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards (e.g., damaged equipment, spills, etc.) to the Facilities Manager.
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Carry out any other cleaning-related duties as requested by the line manager.
What we are looking for:
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
