Main Responsibilities
- To prepare and send the financial reports pack and supporting documentation for the year end accounts to the external accountants within 12 weeks of the financial year end.
- To assist in checking the Service charge accounts for compliance, escalating and issues to the client accountants.
- To send accounts approved and signed by HML to the external accountants to finalise.
- To complete the accounts distribution process, including inputting of the year end balancing calculations, preparing mail-merged letters and distributing along with the year end accounts and balancing demands or credits.
- To Issue section 20b notices prepared by the client accountants, where applicable.
- To ensure that the Accounts Admin inbox queries are responded to within 3 working days.
- Liaising with other departments, Property Managers and accountants via phone, teams calls, email and in person.
- To monitor the company accounts and ensure that they are filed within 9 months of the year end date. This will include liaising with the Property Managers and accountants.
- To update the control sheet on a daily basis and ensure that the information is accurate.
- To prepare financial handover packs when requested, to be sent over to the new managing agents.
- Assisting with any additional adhoc accounting or administrative task if required by their Team Leader and other seniors.

- Well-developed interpersonal and oral communications skills

- Strong organisational skills

- Good numerical skills
- Diplomacy
- Ability to prioritise critical workload and work under pressure and strict time frames.
- Experience in the property management industry would be a bonus but is not essential.
