Freelance Commercial Lead / Director (Claims) required ASAP for principal contractor on super-prime residential project in London - OUTSIDE SCOPE OF IR35 / LIMITED COMPANY
My client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Commercial Lead or Commercial Director, likely on a freelance basis, to lead a c.£25m super-prime residential project in London.
The project involves a large claim, so the successful candidate will need to have strong Construction Law / Contract Law and Claims experience, but also be hands-on and get into the detail.
As well as claims, the role is also likely to involve change management, liasing with the client and subcontractors, management of the commercial team, reporting to the Directors / Board etc.
As such this position will suit a candidate with strong experience within a Senior Commercial Manager / Commercial Director role, or perhaps a Claims Consultant with such a background, whether working for main contractors or subcontractors or both.
Facade / Cladding / Stonework experience will also be an advantage.
The role will primarily be based between the client's offices and site in London's West End, with the potential for some hybrid working.
Contract duration will be until the completion of the project some c.2 years and quite possibly the option to extend beyond this time, including the opportunity for a temp-to-perm / perm Commercial Director position if mutually agreeable.
The role is immediately available on an Outside Scope of IR35 / Limited Company basis and offers an attractive day rate for the right individual / experience.
