Top 5 Requirements:

1. Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification and/or experience in community safety or a related field.
2. Proven experience in developing and delivering multi-agency projects, applying sound project management principles.
3. Experience of effectively engaging with a range of people in diverse settings, building strong relationships and fostering collaboration.
4. A strong understanding of the sensitivity of safety-related issues and the resilience to handle encounters with members of the public who may be distressed.
5. Experience using consultation and engagement methods appropriate to community safety work.

This is a 12-week temporary position, offering:

• Hourly Rate: £21.09 - £22.65 (Grade J, equivalent to £40,689 - £43,690 per annum).
• Annual Leave: 24 days + Bank Holidays + Privilege Day (pro-rata)
• Hours: 37 hours per week (full-time).
• Location: Campus East Office, WGC - AL8 7PH
