What you'll be doing:
- Develop and execute strategic communications plans to promote the company's activities, projects, and achievements.
- Manage all aspects of internal and external communications, including media relations, social media, website content, and stakeholder engagement.
- Craft compelling narratives and messages that highlight the company's commitment to delivering high-quality highways projects and its social value contributions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local communities, media outlets, and industry partners.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in communications, ensuring the company's approach is innovative and effective.
- Develop and manage social media strategies, creating engaging content that builds brand awareness and connects with key audiences.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience as a Communications Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the highways or construction industry.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and concise messages for various audiences.
- A passion for telling compelling stories and promoting positive change.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, including content creation, community management, and analytics.
- An understanding of social value principles and how to communicate their impact effectively.
