As part of your role, some of your responsibilities will be:
- Provide thorough and interesting computer science instruction in line with the school's curriculum standards to make sure pupils are ready for tests and other academic challenges down the road.
- Use varied teaching techniques to meet the needs of students with varying learning styles and skill levels in the classroom, and make sure they all have the chance to succeed.
- Use cutting-edge, hands-on teaching strategies that integrate technology and practical applications to make computer science relevant and engaging for learners.
- Evaluate student's progress on a regular basis and offer helpful criticism to help them advance academically. Work together with colleagues to analyse assessment results and improve instruction.
- Respectful behaviour among students is encouraged in a positive, welcoming classroom setting that cultivates a love of language and reading.
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the requirements below:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role
- Have Right to work in the UK
- Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Provide 2 proven professional references
- Proven success in teaching computer science at the secondary level
- A genuine passion for technology and a commitment to making computer science exciting and accessible for students.
